Edgebander Operator

Salary: £26,000 per year

We have been asked by a local, well established manufacturer of quality Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Cabinetry to recruit an Edgebander Operative to join their family business in 2023.

As a Edgebanding Operative, you will ideally have previous experience running and operating Edgebanding Machinery. However, full machine training will be given to individuals who have worked with similar CNC machinery (routers, saws etc).

The opportunity is based on demonstratable skills and experience. Responsibilities include:

• To competently operate woodworking machinery (loading & unloading) to produce items that meet specification and quality standards.
• Ensure paperwork is completed correctly throughout processing.
• To communicate effectively with other operators to ensure production targets are met.
• To identify quality issues and defects to prevent further defective products being produced.
• To comply with the company quality policy.
• To comply with the company health and safety policy.

Benefits:

39 hour working week (Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am – 12.15pm). 

Overtime is often available
