ECT of Food Technology

Salary: £35,898 – £37,925 per year

Strategy Education are working in partnership with a secondary school based on the East London / Essex border.

Due to a growing role they are looking to recruit an additional member of staff to their Design Technology department. The successful candidate will be a Food Specialist and will take responsibility for teaching Food through the secondary key stages including GCSE Food Technology at key stage 4. The desire to teach other areas across the DT curriculum could be beneficial but not essential for application; a pure Food specialist would also be a great asset to the department.

The school are part of an outstanding academy trust and support for ECTs is structured and effective with plenty of opportunities for progressive career development beyond the ECT pathway.

All roles are permanent with full support throughout your ECT pathway. You will be employed directly by the school and paid to scale in line with teachers pay and conditions, inclusive of the outer London allowance.
