Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

We have a unique opportunity to join our family run fashion company. Nomads is a fair trade clothing company specialising in womenswear that has been established in Cornwall since 1989. We have a busy mail order website as well as a wholesale site that services our trade customers.

We are looking to appoint a good all-rounder to primarily manage our successful website – helping to ensure it’s running smoothly, making improvements and adding to future growth. You’ll be involved in driving more sales to our website, working closely with our mail order department, graphic designer and sales manager. Additionally you’ll be responsible for supporting our sales order processing and stock control software which integrates with our website.

Key responsibilities
– Conducting updates and management of website content, product information and images
– Brief and liaise with our external web developers, suggesting improvements to the website as it evolves.
– Creating, implementing and monitoring marketing campaigns in conjunction with our sales department and graphic designer
– Analysis, reporting and evaluation of web sales and online promotions
– Making seasonal and/or periodic updates to the website to increase traffic and drive sales
– Monitoring and testing the website to ensure it is working efficiently and updates are implemented successfully
– Identifying improvements and making recommendations to help grow sales

Key Skills
– Experience of managing an e-commerce website
– Advanced knowledge of Excel
– Knowledge of HTML and CSS
– Experience of using Google Analytics
– An understanding of SEO and PPC
