EC&I Designer (Draughtsperson)

Are you an experienced EC&I Designer / Draughtsperson seeking a new opportunity? An exciting contract has arisen to join a successful and expanding team within the Nuclear Industry. The role is an excellent opportunity to work in the centre of excellence for the management of Urenco materials, decommissioning and recycling.

The successful candidate will be an EC&I Designer / Draughtsperson who can operate CAD to a high standard, produce and manufacturing drawings. Is able to undertake surveys of equipment and plant and produce drawings as a result. Has design experience and is able to influence the way in which things are designed/produced based on constructability and engineering practices.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Completing scheme design drawings, manufacturing drawings, review of the overall design of equipment.

* Providing engineering advice on the designs submitted.

Knowledge, Skills and Expertise:

* Technical Qualification in Engineering Design and Draughting to HNC or equivalent * An experienced Mechanical Designer with knowledge of the general process and/or the nuclear industries gained over an extended period. * Previous experience of working within multidiscipline design teams within a large project delivery team. * Good working knowledge of AutoCAD with optional experience in Inventor and Solidworks
