Salary: £300 – £360 per day
An excellent opportunity for an experienced E-learning Designer and content developer to use their skills and experience to support the implementation of this leading organisation’s online learning strategy. You will create high quality e-learning content whilst advising on the use of appropriate learning technologies.
About the role
*Design and development of first class e-learning content
*Trial a variety of e-learning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline) tools and learning platforms to maintain, manage and improve e-learning content
*Working within agreed timeframes to produce e-learning sources
*Responsibility for the implementation of new learning technology solutions by keeping up to date with developments in mobile technology, social learning etc. and the appropriate usage of such technology
*Understand technical standards and languages such as CSS, Javascript, HTML5 MySQL and use them when appropriate
About you
*Minimum of three years of experience in an e-learning content design and authoring role
*Highly knowledgeable and skilled in the use of learning technologies
*Excellent working knowledge of rapid e-learning development software such as Articulate, Captivate, Lectora and bespoke development software such as Photoshop and Dreamweaver
*Experienced in developing e-learning content to support both teaching and learning
*Adept at working with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts at varying levels
*A strong knowledge of the functionalities of a learning management system (LMS) or virtual learning environment (VLE) and how to use those to their full potential
*Degree educated in a related subject such Education, technology or media
*A strong understanding of online learning and the technologies required to support it
