Driver

A long established client is seeking to recruit a Driver with previous employment experience driving any of the following vehicles within the last 2 years; transit van, flat bed, side loader, 3.5 tonne vehicle – i.e. any vehicle other than a car.

Applicants will ideally have a clean licence and have been employed as a driver within the last 60 days. A CPC is not needed for this role, as the vehicle to be driven is 3.5 tonnes or less.

Main duties will include the delivery and collection of waste units in and around the London and Kent areas, usually making no more than 20 stops in the course of a day.

Toll and congestion charges (not penalty charges) will be paid for by the Client.

The role will involve working day shifts, Monday to Friday and due to the nature of the job, full training will be provided.

This will be a temporary and potentially ongoing position for the right candidate.
