Salary: £36,000 – £38,400 per year

Draughtsperson – Steelwork

A successful steelwork company local to Oswestry seek an additional Draughtsperson to join their busy team.

Role / Duties of Draughtsperson:

* Create 3D CAD models in Tekla structures software from engineering/GA drawings.

* Produce detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, erection drawings.

* Liaise with internal colleagues and relevant external companies such as Architects and engineers.

* Generate and chase as required technical queries/RFIs.

* Working within a team of detailers on a project or running your own project from start to finish.

Candidate requirements:

* Experience using Tekla structures software an advantage but not essential as full training on Tekla can be provided, but a minimum requirement is to have solid experience using AutoCAD and within the steelwork industry.

* Experience in detailing structural, secondary, and Architectural steelwork or any combination of such is essential for this role.

* Ability to organise workload and manage detailing / issue of drawings program.

* Must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.

* Full UK driving license.
