Draughtsman (Revit or Tekla)

Salary: £44,400 – £52,800 per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Draughtsman/Detailer with experience using either Revit or Tekla to join a successful and growing engineering consultancy based local to Oldbury. The successful Draughtsman/Detailer will join the technical team to model/detail up a range of light gauge framing structures.

Draughtsman Duties:

Producing models (Tekla or Revit)and detail drawings of various steel structures (buildings), mainly of SFS/LGSF construction.

Liaising with external professional parties, raising RFI’s etc.

Updating DO Manager / contracts of any potential delays to detailing program due lack of information etc.

Issuing drawings, material, cutting, component lists etc.

Logging revisions as required.

Issuing GA’s and erection dwgs. to site.

Draughtsman requirements:

Experience using either Tekla or Revit software packages highly advantageous.

Experience working on light gauge framing/SFS projects is preferred.

However candidates who have worked for a steelwork fabricator with some knowledge of cold rolled and SFS detailing will be readily considered.
