Domiciliary Deputy Care Manager – Newport Pagnall

Reporting into the Area Manager, responsibilities will include:-

To manage effectively and efficiently all assessed requirements of, and allocated resources of, the Homecare Branch.

To develop and increase the levels of business and profitability of the Branch.

Required knowledge & experience:-

of working with the elderly in a Home Care environment, with RMA, NVQ 4/5 or equivalent or working towards a management qualification in Health & Social Care

Essential people management experience including working to and the setting of targets within a customer focused environment including staff recruitment, staff supervisions and appraisals, the monitoring of staff ensuring quality care is delivered.

Understanding of CQC, Health & Safety legislation along with the knowledge of safeguarding of vulnerable adults, Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Act.

You must have excellent business acumen and be able to show achievements in business development through hour’s growth, staff recruitment and retention that have led to business profitability.

This position will require you to Deputy Manage together with the Registered Manager the following branches – Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes, Luton and Bedford.

•You will be required to cover some on call duties and be part of the on call rota, you may also be required to cover care calls in the community in an emergency.
