Domestic Gas Engineer

Salary: £41,958 per year

A great chance to work for a UK manufacturer of domestic boilers, cylinders and heating equipment. They are well know heating manufacturer and have built up a solid reputation for products, customer services, and first time fix rates. Joining this company would give you all of the top training on their products along with having the technical support at hand…. as well as having a van stocked with every conceivable part you may need. no wonder they supply equipment to some of the major names in the industry.

Due to expansion they are recruiting for a domestic gas engineer, you will be:-

• Covering in and around the Oxfordshire area

• Doing Warranty work (probably about 60% of the time) as well as contract repairs on domestic combi boilers and heating systems
• Doing basic electrics – wiring up controls
• Working with large scale contractors

Experience needed

• Living anywhere in the Oxfordshire area
• You would need your domestic gas certificates and ideally 5 years experience working on the tools
• Having experience working for a manufacturer would be great but isn’t essential
• Basic electric experience would be needed
• Having your unvented cert and/or your LPG would be again beneficial but isn’t essential
• You need to have top level customer services experience with a great attitude

Salary

• £41,958basic salary + first time fix rate bonus of £41,958 per year (over 90% of their engineers hit this bonus)
• Daily meal allowance – tax free – £4 per day – £1016 per year
• 40-45k OTE
• Working one Saturday in four
• Van, phone, fuel card, uniform
• Overtime, pension
• Manufacturers training on all of their equipment
• 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays – this increases over with length of service
