Domestic Energy Assessor

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Robert Hurst are working closely with an Energy company based in Berkshire. The company is a home energy management software technology company with 65 employees. Its a wholly-owned subsidiary, arto.energy, is a Licenced Energy Supplier which provides Feed-in Tariff License services. Our clients existing customer base includes energy suppliers, asset managers, infrastructure investors, local authorities, and housing associations. In addition the Company manages R&D projects funded by central government initiatives and it has recently launched (in partnership with two multinational companies) two businesses carrying out the design, installation, management and support of Hybrid Heat Pumps with smart controls in consumer’s homes which are expected to grow rapidly into multi million pound businesses over the next three years.

The Company was the first to launch a new “occupancy-based” user interface for controlling heating systems which received critical acclaim by being selected as one of the six hottest products at CES 2010. The company has gone on to win numerous awards including Global Cleantech 100 winner, World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer and University College London Knowledge Transfer partner in 2013. Our client is now recognised as one of the world’s leading companies in developing and providing home energy services.

The Role

We are seeking to recruit a Domestic Energy Assessor to carry out enhanced EPC surveys on a nationwide basis. Primarily based ‘on the road’.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for your allocated surveys inclusive of but not exclusive to

* Carrying out enhanced EPC assessments and then lodging on the company’s survey form system

* Ensure a timely return of all relevant documentation to our office according to process and targets set by our management team.

* Work with the project coordinator to manage and control survey lists which have been issued by our team, and timely/accurate reporting of any survey issues

* Pro-actively work with your manager to constantly improve process, documentation, and delivery of objectives.

* Act as the ‘face of the company’ and portray a professional image to clients at all times

* Production of regular reports

* Regular attendance at the head office in Berkshire

Education & Training

* Educated to GCSE, including Math and English (or equivalent)

* DEA level 3 (Minimum) Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment.

* Full Valid Driver’s Licence.

* Technical knowledge of Solar PV/Air source heat pumps is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.

Experience

* Demonstrable experience working with a customer focused project environment

Familiar with working with customer management systems (e.g. Salesforce or other CRM applications)
