Client
Online People are currently recruiting a Domestic Assistant to work as part of an expanding NHS team and supporting the Domestic maintenance of the NHS department within Boots (Pentagon Centre).

Domestic Assistant Main duties:
• As a Domestic Assistant you will ensure a clean environment for patient care in accordance with health and safety
• Duties include, but are not limited to: vacuum cleaning; damp mopping of floors; damp dusting of furniture/fittings;
• Undertake full legionella flushing of all outlets within your area of responsibility and update records
• Safely empty and clean all clinical and commercial waste bins,
• Carry out periodic cleaning, according to the required schedule.
• Correctly and safely use equipment as necessary to provide the service, for example: suction cleaners;
• Supply and replacement of consumables, for example: paper towels; toilet tissue; hand soap dispensers
• Assist in ensuring that cleaning stock is controlled and supplied to a level that meets customer needs.
• Report any known building faults/damage to the building fabric via the FM Helpdesk or to your supervisor/team leader

Experience
• Able to demonstrate an ability to manage pressure,
• Genuine interest in working in a care environment
• Demonstrate care and compassion.
