We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Specialist Welfare Advice Services to collaboratively lead and develop the Royal British Legion’s (RBL) National and Overseas Casework and Specialist Services Strategy.
As Director of Specialist Welfare Advice Services you will be accountable for and lead the delivery of the four UK based specialist advice services, ensuring services are appropriately designed to deliver first class, beneficiary focused welfare outcomes that seamlessly link with our other services.
You will set and maintain the standards for RBL’s specialist advice services ensuring that the ser-vices link directly with our other welfare services, directorates, partners, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and provide the best possible beneficiary experience.
You will lead RBL’s UK based specialist advice services (including War Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation Advice Service, Outreach Service, Benefits, Debt and Money Advice Service, and Independent Living Advice Service), collaborating with the RBL’s wider Senior Leadership Team, members of the RBL Executive Board (EB), stakeholders across the RBL Group and externally where necessary, ensuring the principles of the ‘One Legion’ strategy are effectively embedded in the operational delivery of exceptional services to our beneficiaries.
You will build and sustain a high performing and inclusive culture across each service area and team where everyone can thrive. At the same time, you will lead and develop inclusive , high quality person centred services, striving for the delivery of an exceptional beneficiary experience in all that we do, contributing to the delivery of the RBL’s strategy
