Lead the digital revolution at E.ON UK’s City Energy Solutions (CES)

As the Digitisation Manager, you’ll lead our digital transformation of our heat networks. You’ll develop and implement systems and innovative tools enabling the effective monitoring and performance analysis of our growing portfolio.

Key responsibilities include

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive digitisation strategy for CES District Heating Operations, aligning technological initiatives with CES operational goals.
  • Data Management Solutions: Responsible for establishing the comprehensive collection, storage, and ability to analyse data from CES Heat Network schemes and respective assets, enabling performance measurement, fault detection, and operational improvements.
  • Automated Meter Reading (AMR): Responsible for the fleet residential and SME AMR infrastructure to ensure customers are billed accurately to the incumbent billing system
  • Metering Infrastructure: Responsible for the heat and commodity metering and communication for CES Operations.
  • Technology Expertise: Working with SMEs and delivery partners to deliver the latest digital and IT trends, tools and technologies.
  • Contract Management: Manage third party supply contracts for the development of systems and processes to provide better operational insights from data.
  • Budget Management: Responsible for project budgets, systems and infrastructure costs. Ensuring cost-effective implementation of technologies while maximising Return on Investment.
  • Leadership: Play an active role in CES Operations Leadership.

Here’s what you need to have

  • Proven working experience of successfully leading cross-functional projects, with preference being within the digital and IT domain.
  • Ability to develop a strategic approach, gain support and commitment to deliver from within the business.
  • Experience of contract management and overseeing 3rd party service delivery.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies, tools and software; maintaining a focus on project costs and outputs.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills (written/verbal) at all levels of the organisation.
  • Confident in making decisions and able to adapt and show resilience to change.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Stakeholder awareness with excellent networking, influencing and rapport building skills.
  • Strong people management and coaching skills.
