Digital Content Producer
Job Description
Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for digital content? We’re seeking a dynamic individual to play a key role in shaping and showcasing the diverse work of The Royal British Legion across our digital platforms.
Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.
We are looking for someone to collaborate with our Marketing team to brainstorm and plan captivating content ideas for our digital channels. From engaging copywriting to meticulous proofing, you’ll develop and produce creative content that tells the inspiring stories of the Royal British Legion’s impactful work. Sitting within the Social Media and Content team, you’ll bring these stories to life across various digital channels using a range of publishing tools.
Join forces with internal contributors to fuel creative content development. Commission external writers and designers to craft engaging material reflecting the essence of the Royal British Legion’s brand. Whether it’s reporting on our events or preparing coverage for national milestones like the Poppy Appeal, you’ll be the driving force behind our digital storytelling.
You’ll bring proven editorial experience in a digital communications environment. Demonstrable expertise in coordinating content publishing and community engagement for websites, blogs, and social media is essential. Your proficiency in Adobe CS6, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier, sets you apart. Additionally, your ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and engage with diverse audiences make you an ideal fit for our team.
Here at RBL, we aim to support our people and their wellbeing, with a package including generous paid holiday allowance and pension scheme contributions, and a range of optional benefits and discounts.
Our Corporate Partnerships team has a strong track record of developing valuable, sustainable and mutually beneficial corporate partnerships with organisations such as Sainsbury’s, M&S, Premier League and Pets At Home. You will get the chance to support one of the UK’s best loved charity campaigns, Poppy Appeal, and harness the incredible power of the poppy symbol through cause-related marketing.
You will be contracted to our London Hub, Haig House. Under our Future Working framework, there will be some flexibility for working remotely/at home, using our collaboration tools to work with colleagues but with a minimum expectation of two days/week connecting directly face-to-face with colleagues at the hub.
