The Role

Due to expansion, they seek to recruit a customer focused and technically motivated Technical Support Specialist. The role will involve working within the diagnostics support department and will involve supporting analysers used in medical laboratories. Duties will include:

* Providing technical support by phone and email
* Demonstrations of troubleshooting solutions
* Undertaking product training
* Supporting the engineering and sales teams
* Visiting customer sites to troubleshoot problems

Your Background

Suitable candidates will need to have a background as a biomedical scientist within a haematology, immunology or clinical chemistry discipline. Ideally you will have an ONC, HNC or Degree in a Science subject. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be confident interacting with other departments and external customers.
