DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer
Currently, doing DevOps but want to more Autonomy?
Maybe you’re doing it as part of another role.
A Product Development squad is looking to add someone who is eager to learn more in this area. It doesn’t matter if DevOps is your day to day job or just part of what you do; they have the capability to help you on that Career path.
Currently deploying.NET applications on Azure, making use of Azure functions, Azure SQL DB and Cosmos they have the framework in place to bring anyone in and move them through a strong career path.
Do you enjoy scripting? They are using Arm / Bicep but would be interested in people who have used other IAC like Ansible and Terraform.
Right now, they are improving their monitoring and configs of pipelines with a greenfield environment to be designed and deployed in 6 months.
You may not have Architecture experience or solution design experience, but you can work alongside the Head of Engineering to gain that experience.
The is a real chance to be running a team or be a principal technician in 12 months.
All we ask is:
* Experience of Azure
* IAC – ARM \ BICEP \ Ansible \ Terraform
* Understanding of CI \ CD Pipelines
* Solution Finder / Problem solver – you may not know the answer, but creative thinking to work with someone to find the solution.
The company are based in Manchester but the role is remote.
They have a track record of career development, with the Head of Engineering starting as a Dev.
