Despatch Shift Manager 4 on 4 Off

Red Eagle Recruitment are working exclusively with our Manufacturing Client on this position. We are looking to recruit a permanent Despatch Shift Manager (4 on 4 off).

Hours 4 on 4 off 11.00 am to 11.00 pm

As Despatch Manager you will be managing the logistics and site service functions through the use of KPI’s to ensure 100% customer service, optimum capacity utilisation and attainment of targeted labour efficiency. You will be delivering forecasted targets in each department ensuring that legal compliance and industry standards are adhered to.

Principle Responsibilities:-

Ability to lead and motivate team leaders and drive performance through KPI’s
A strong understanding of warehouse/logistics departments
Mentor and develop individuals and teams
Ability to influence senior management and peers
To provide vision and data to support and justify department changes
Person specification:-

MUST have worked within a Despatch Manager role
Food manufacturing experience (DESIRABLE)
Good written and verbal communication skills
MUST have management experience
Excellent IT system knowledge (System 21 desirable but not essential)
