Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year
Design Engineer, Development Technician, Draftsperson
Chesterfield
£20-£25k basic
My client is a UK based in Chesterfield who is seeking a new technician due to organic growth. My client specialises in High Frequency Welding but other production facilities include roller cutting, press cutting, ultrasonic welding, pressure testing and CAD/CAM design and production.
Responsibilities
• To respond to all customer enquiries within 24hours of receipt.
• To produce accurate quotes within agreed timescales.
• Produce drawings which are understandable for samples to be made from.
• Create sample products where required, within agreed timescales
• To maintain a healthy and pro-active relationship with new and existing customers
• Tool Design/Production
• Find the best supplier for items/services required.
• Production Process cards must be accurately completed.
• Production Handover
• Annual Price Updates
Experience
• HND Qualified
• Understanding of H/F Welding and ability to design cutting and H/F welding tools – ideal
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of CAD
