Delivery Driver

Salary: £36,000 – £37,200 per year

Walker’s Logs are looking for a delivery driver and yard assistant for the coming winter season. We are based near Compton Abdale, GL54 4DL

The role will include:

• Delivering firewood in 3.5t vehicles
• Stacking firewood
• Additional yard assistance duties, including packing firewood into bags, packing kindling, cleaning machinery and maintaining a tidy yard.

Full training will be given, as well as all necessary PPE.

Walker’s Logs are a leading supplier of kiln dried firewood and kindling to both retail and trade customers. We are a family run business, which started 17 years ago.

You must have transport to get to our site GL54 4DL, Public transport is NOT available, due to our location.

Monday – Friday 07.00 – 17.30

Occasional overtime on a Saturday may be available, on an optional basis.

28 days holiday per year pro rata

Contract length: September 2022 – 31st March 2023 – this could be extended for the right candidate.
