Data Scientist

Salary: £450 – £480 per day

Six month Data Scientist contract working with one of the country’s leading solutions companies on a range of projects.

I am looking for a Data Scientist, with an expert level of knowledge and skills around Python, AWS and Azure as well as proven track record of writing scripts, building algorithms and read &analysing data science.

Primarily focused on the research and development of new innovative AI and machine learning techniques and models. They have the ability to discover information hidden in vast amounts of data, enhance the data to help make smarter decisions to deliver even better products and services. Your focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems. You will have the ability to extract, aggregate, join and transform from a wide range of data sources both structured and unstructured and educating businesses on the value and potential of data they hold. You will have a good knowledge of the available AI/Machine learning tools, libraries and techniques and understand which is the correct to use and why.

Experience:
*Having experience in a research or professional background of using techniques such as computer vision, deep learning (recurrent neural networks, convolutional neural networks, deep belief network) and anomaly detection.
*Good knowledge of Machine learning techniques (e.g., Bayesian inference, hierarchical models, Gaussian processes, causal inference, Online Machine learning) and knowing why you would choose one over the other.
*Good understanding of the AI/Machine learning tool sets available including AWS, Azure and Open source.
*Good understanding of the different machine learning libraries and knowing why you would choose one over the other.
*Experience of analysing large data sets and communicating finding to key stakeholders as well as identifying trends and patterns.
*Constructing and effectively communicating stories using data visualisation methods and narrative storytelling to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
*The ability to form and build a solution from a number of problems.
