Data Analyst – Pensions

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst within Pensions, you will be responsible for working across large and complex data models, undertaking data mapping, and supporting Customer Outputs. It is crucial that you have a strong understanding of the Life & Pensions business and previous experience working with Customer Outputs.

Responsibilities:
– Work across multiple complex data models for Customer Outputs (letter content) and undertake data mapping to fix defects.
– Utilise XSD and XML files, as well as legacy data structures, to feed into the data modelling and mapping process and generate specifications for middleware developers.
– Collaborate with technical document developers (such as xPression) to reverse engineer changes to data mappings.
– Demonstrate a deep understanding of Life & Pension terminology and the L&P business to make informed mapping decisions.
– Be able to self-manage workload and work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on Pensions.
– Proficiency in working with large and complex data models.
– Strong knowledge of data mapping techniques.
– Familiarity with XSD and XML files, as well as legacy data structures.
– Excellent understanding of Life & Pension terminology and the L&P business.
– Rapid learner with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
