Internal Cyber Security Consultant – Oxfordshire / Hybrid – Network / Infrastructure Penetration Testing, Threat Modelling, Cloud Security, Networking

My client works in a really unique industry and is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and multi-disciplined Cyber Security Professional to join their growing international team. We are looking for someone who wants to be involved in multiple areas of cyber security, from threat modelling, security design review, SDLC advice through enterprise security, internal penetration testing, cloud security and even into risk management and governance. It’s vital that you can walk the walk as well as talk the talk across these areas, most important being the technical aspects.

Responsibilities

* Act as a project resource to represent security in various engineering projects, conducting security reviews, providing security guidance, and ensuring that security requirements are implemented effectively.

* Assist the Head of Security across all areas, deputising if required to do so.

* Work under the direction of the Head of Security to enhance security across M365, AWS, and on-premise solutions.

* Support the creation and maintenance of an ISMS.

Essential Skills

* Passion for cybersecurity, keeping up to date with the latest threat intelligence, technologies, and trends.

* Degree educated in a technical subject, ideally computer science or software engineering.

* Professional experience working in a cyber security role for three years.

* OSCP certification or similar.

* Knowledge and experience in developing threat models and identifying security weaknesses over complex systems.

* Good understanding of communication and networking technologies (NGFW, VPNs etc.) and security thereof

* Cloud security knowledge ideally over AWS security.

* Good reporting skills.

* Knowledge of ISO27001 or similar, and experience in writing and managing an ISMS and associated information assurance policies.

The role is based in Oxfordshire, and is offering hybrid working arrangements. The client is offering a salary of between £66,000 – £78,000plus an excellent benefits package.
