Responsibilities:
- Cybersecurity Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and integrate security measures into overall IT architecture.
- Security Architecture Design:
- Design and implement secure and scalable cybersecurity architectures.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential vulnerabilities.
- Network and Infrastructure Security:
- Design and deploy network security solutions to safeguard the organization’s networks and systems.
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security infrastructure.
- Identity and Access Management:
- Develop and implement robust identity and access management solutions.
- Ensure effective authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place to protect sensitive data.
- Security Awareness and Training:
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs to educate employees on security best practices.
- Foster a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
- Incident Response and Management:
- Establish and maintain an incident response plan to address security incidents promptly.
- Lead investigations into security breaches and implement corrective actions.
- Security Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Emerging Technology Evaluation:
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity technologies and trends.
- Evaluate new technologies for potential integration into the cybersecurity architecture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Architect or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, and secure coding practices.
Experience with security architecture design and implementation.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
