80% remote – 20% onsite required

A fantastic opportunity for Cyber Security Analysts looking to further their career and work for an established organisation with a mature internal InfoSec function looking to implement the next phase of their cyber defence environment.

As the Cyber Security Analyst you will be responsible for the day to day administration and support of key security systems and services that underpin the protection of digital services, infrastructure, data and users

Core role:

• Help maintain and secure organisation environment.
• Contribute to the day to day management of Information and Cyber Security operations
• Work closely with IT teams to secure the technology
• Develop & update security standards & policies to safeguard digital services
• Ensure Digital services are secure and fit for purpose
• Responsible for the day-to-day system administration and support for Cyber Security operations to ensure IT assets and systems are secure and compliant
•  Ensure the management, maintenance and support of core threat protection tools and associated infrastructure to mitigate risk and protect against security vulnerabilities, whilst maintaining compliance.

Key skills and experience

• Demonstrable commercial experience working within a similar role
• Proven experience of managing enterprise security platforms
• Highly developed IT security management and in-depth technical skills and the ability to asses information systems processes, IT services, system threats and solve logical problems, with experience of network and system issues
• Knowledge of systems, endpoints and end user security, compliance standards and techniques.
• SIEM – Splunk advantageous but not essential
• Firewalls – Palo Alto advantageous but not essential
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure services
• Experience working in an ITIL environment advantageous
• Strong knowledge of IT and Security Standards, policies and procedures
• A genuine enthusiasm for the Cyber arena and an eagerness to stay up to date
