Cut & Crease Machine Minder
Job Description
- Full time – 37.5 hours a week worked over 4 days, Monday to Thursday, 0600 to 1530 except Thursdays finishing at 1500
Focused on recyclable and compostable products, we design and manufacture award-winning, sustainable food packaging solutions exported to over 60 countries worldwide. Based in the UK, our creativity and innovation takes inspiration from our markets around the globe.
As one of our Cut and Crease Minders, you will ensure:
- the quality of cut and creased work and compliance with ISO, BRC and any other standards and operating procedures;
- the machine is running at its optimum at all times to maximise efficiencies;
- the machine is fully compliant to all Health and Safety requirements;
- all information relating to the machine output is recorded correctly;
- machine maintenance and cleaning.
If you have the following skills and attributes, then we want to hear from you:
- Recent, relevant and proven machine minder experience, specifically in Bobst 102 or 142 flat-bed die cutting.
- Ability to:
- meet the physical demands of the post with frequent lifting of light and moderately heavy items;
- work under pressure whilst looking for continual improvements;
- act on own initiative and adapt quickly to change;
- understand and carry out instructions.
- Must be able to:
- work well within a small team with good listening and communication skills;
- work unsupervised with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Highly reliable person with honesty and integrity.
