Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join client’s team as a Customer Service Representative. Founded over 40 years ago and grown from a small family-run company to one of the largest independently operated cylinder gas suppliers in the UK. 4 roles are available.
Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, you will be the first point of contact for customers by phone or email. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, taking ownership of issues and resolving them effectively.
You will interact with agents, customers, and various departments, including Operations, Scheduling, and Credit Control. Therefore, strong communication skills, organisational abilities, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Respond to customer orders promptly, ensuring they are placed in SAP and providing accurate delivery information.
  • Address customer inquiries via phone or email, providing timely and satisfactory responses.
  • Maintain customer account master data and engage the Customer Master Data team when necessary.
  • Process card payments through phone calls.
  • Document customer disputes and resolve them independently or collaborate with other teams as needed.
  • Provide additional support to the Sales Administration team to meet customer expectations.
  • Adhere to safety standards and continuously improve the workplace environment using BSP procedures.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Prior experience with SAP software.
  • Thorough understanding of general administrative practices.
  • Ideally, 1+ years of experience in a similar role; however, enthusiastic candidates, with a proven ability to learn quickly and adapt are encouraged to apply.

Salary – £11.24 per hour PAYE
