Customer Service Assistant job in Weymouth, Dorset
Temporary to Permanent Position
Immediate start available
£6.92
37.5 Hours
Monday to Friday 08:45am – 17:15pm (1 hour for lunch)
Our client is seeking an experienced customer service assistant to join their team. You will be situated in an open plan office dealing with inbound calls from customers selecting products from the company website or calling to see whether you stock the items required. It will be your responsibility to accurately search the database, log and input the information from the call on to a bespoke system. This company is customer focused and needs you to build relationships over the phone.
* You will be dealing with people at all levels, excellent communication skills will be required.
* You will then need to organise the delivery of product to the customer (via email and/or letter correspondence).
* You must follow procedures and if unsure of any information be willing to contact the customer to gain the correct information.
* You may have to give quotes or work out costs of the orders before processing – Good number skills is required
* You will then liaise with internal staff to ensure the products are despatched on time and the customer is updated along the way.
Customer service and repeat business is key to this client and therefore you will need to show the following within CVs:
* Previous experience of working within an Office or call centre environment
* Excellent customer service skills
* Good numeracy skills
* IT Literature – Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
* Confident Telephone Manner
