Customer Interface Planner X 2 (12 Month FTC)

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Our client is a very well-established global supplier to the automotive industry, with a presence in 30 countries with employees of around 100,000 worldwide.

Their UK Head Office is based in Newcastle under Lyme where they are currently seeking 2 Customer Interface Planners to support their busy supply chain department.

Due to parental leave, the roles will initially be on a 12 month contract but the potential to become permanent for the right candidates is a strong possibility.

Main duties

• Manages day to day customer service for selected customers
• Co-ordinates day to day operations between the Distribution Centre, customers, production facilities and third party logistics.
• Processes customer orders on behalf of the production facilities for selected customers.
• Analyses customer schedules against agreed contracts
• Negotiates potential solutions for any deviations of schedules

Requirements

• Ideally educated to A Level or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Proven experience of building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers
• Able to working in a high pressure environment with tight deadlines
• Excellent IT skills especially use of Excel. Knowledge of SAP advantageous
• Understanding of supply chain/logistics/shipping would be an advantage but candidates with an interest and willingness to learn in this field will be considered
