CSSD Technician – (Day Shift – £18,635 + Benefits)

My client is part of an international privately owned company and is a market leader in the reprocessing of medical devices. This company offers customised solutions to hospitals for the modernisation of their Central Sterile Supply Department. This involves supplying decontamination / sterile services to a number of private hospitals in the region. They are now looking to recruit an experienced sterile services technician for their Sterile Services Unit in Aylesford. (Shift Patterns are as follows: 6am – 2pm, 11am – 7pm & 2pm – 10pm). Candidates must be able to work all of these on a Rota basis.)

As an experienced Sterile Services Technician you should be able to demonstrate that you;

• Have worked in either CSSD, TSSU, Sterile Services Unit in the UK for a minimum of 1 year and preferably hold an NVQ 3 in decontamination or have a good level or work experience within the SSD environment;
• Want to be part of a successful and fun SSD unit team
• Are keen to learn and develop yourself;
• Enjoy providing a first class service to all our customers;
• Understand the importance of our industry and promote it;
• Appreciate that hygiene, maintenance and cleanliness tantamount to our success;
• Have a flexible no-nonsense approach with a can-do attitude and the willingness to excel;
• Be Prepared to work the shift pattern (6am-2pm, 11am-7pm & 2pm-10pm) and work on a rota basis
