Credit Controller (Hybrid)

Salary: £27,600 – £33,600 per year

Credit Controller (Hybrid) – Pontefract – £27,600 – £33,600 per annum

Job Purpose:

To support the Credit Control Team with a range of activities that ultimately improves business cash collection performance and profitability. To minimise bad debt and increase cash flow within the business.

Main Duties:

• Invoice Finance Figures
• Daily invoices and distribute to customer
• Telephone/email chasing of debts and responding to queries.
• Post remittances received on Finance System and Credit control notes
• Raise credits
• Monitor Daily bank transactions, update relevant files.
• Sales Reconciliation
• Credit control Notes
• Credit Checks
• Monitoring of specified customer balances.
• Assist Purchase Ledger invoice input.
• Invoice Finance Monthly Rec and do reports for submission

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Knowledge of Microsoft NAV would be preferred but not essential.
• Good Excel skills
• A resilient, proactive hands-on individual with strong results orientation, capable of focusing on both immediate needs and longer term system reporting improvements
• Strong personal organisation skills
