Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Credit Services team on a 12 month fixed term contract (this could be considered as a secondment opportunity) as a Credit Controller.

 

The purpose of the role is to carry out full cash collection across the National Accounts customer based and proactively chasing payment to reduce the risk of bad debt.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Query Management for our Indies/National Customers to ensure quick resolution, meeting business needs and targets
  • Following Dunning Cycle/legal processes
  • Balancing priorities to meet deadlines and agreed month end targets
  • Main contact for customer to direct all queries to after delivery
  • Liaise directly with publishers and customers to ensure disputes are settled in a timely manner
  • Liaise with our Internal Customers such as Sales, Customer Services, Warehouse to assist with claims resolution and build awareness of reoccurring issues.
  • Main contact for PRH Field Reps (UK and Ireland)
  • Liaise with our Parcel & Pallet Carriers (Parcelforce, Primeline, DHL etc)
  • Preparing reports for the management team ahead of Customer Meetings
  • Attending Face to Face/Teams Customer Meetings
  • Develop market awareness and commercial knowledge of PRH and 3rd Party Publishers
  • Updating Customer Relationship Management System & In House systems, Customer Portals and Spreadsheets.
  • Updating any bespoke customer Procedures annually

  • Ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities
  • Great customer service skills and experience
  • Be a team player and play an active role in the team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Clear communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams)
