Cover Supervisor / Trainee Teacher

Salary: £26,000 per year

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a trainee or experienced Cover Supervisor to join a good secondary school in the Durham area. The role will be for ongoing cover work across the school starting in September which may become a permanent role. In this role you will be covering lessons with work set in KS3 and 4 and potentially KS5 for the right candidate. The ideal candidate would have good presence and a wish to work in schools and have a background in sport (although this is desirable not essential). You might be a new graduate considering a roles as Teachers, a TA or HLTA or someone with a Post 16, Youth Work or Outdoor Education qualification. Training and mentoring will be provided.

There is the potential to study for a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training alongside the role.

In addition, you must:

• Provide two referees we can contact

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
