Costing and Pricing Analyst

We are currently recruiting for a Pricing and Costing Analyst in one of our large public sector organisations. This is a full time role and is fixed term contract for up to 12 months. The suitable candidate will provide support with the training of functional leads on pricing strategies and will help to provide improvements in the progression of these strategies.

-Produce costs and prices for directorate services for new and add-on sales in conjunction with Directorate teams and service directors based on complex financial analysis using historical trend data.
-Undertake scenario planning in medium to high risk bids using quantitative and qualitative financial analysis to support the Pricing and Financial Modelling.
-Assist in the development of a Customer Level Costing System to support the development of prices for tender/ procurement processes.

The ideal candidate must have experience in all areas of management accounting and financial systems, working on purchase ledge and accounting packages as well as advanced spreadsheet skills. The ability to analyse complex financial data and draw conclusions is also essential for this role. It is necessary that the right candidate is proficient in the use of Microsoft programmes and has the ability to produce and present formal reports in a professional manner.

All candidates must be educated to degree level of AAT equivalent.

The suitable candidate will be paid on a weekly basis and the pay rate per hour is £15.67
