The Role:

We’re currently looking to recruit experienced Business Travel Consultants who would like to be based from home and work outside of normal business hours in an out of hours Business Corporate Travel Consultant position.

Fulfilling the travel needs of corporate clients, the successful candidate will ensure a high level of service is provided for a number of prestigious TMC’s. Main duties include booking/amending flights, hotels, car hire and other associated products. This is a 24/7 operation so you’ll need to be willing to work early morning, evenings and weekends. You will be sent the state of the art computer equipment with no set up costs.

Applicants for this Business Travel Consultant vacancy must have proven Business Travel experience. Good working knowledge of at least 2 GDS Reservations system (Galileo / Amadeus / Sabre and Fares Level 1 & 2 qualification is desirable.

Skills required for the role of Home-based Out of Hours Business Travel Consultant:

Recent experience as a business travel consultant (min 3 years) – essential
Fully proficient and knowledgeable on at least 2 GDS – Amadeus, Sabre and Galileo
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends
Professional and motivated approach
Candidates will need to demonstrate a competent level of travel management skills e.g. adjusting and creating new record via the GDS, fares knowledge and an awareness of ticketingThe Collinson Group
