Corporate Systems Manager

Salary: £570 per day

The Role:
– As Corporate Systems Manager you will be accountable for managing the area of technical integration within our entire business systems corporate portfolio having an overarching responsibility for the day to day operational management of the Council’s infrastructure and applications.
-Although the role is guided by the desired outcomes from our Digital Strategy, the role requires a person who is able work on their own initiative, with a passion for proactive and innovative work patterns.
 
The successful candidate will be able to:
-Influence the organisation, customers, suppliers, partners and peers on the contribution of their own specialism, performing an extensive range and variety of complex technical and/or professional work activities, and advises on the available standards, methods, tools and applications.
-Have oversight of multiple competing activities, often within demanding deadlines, with a range of complexities that impact the delivery of services to the whole Council.
-Build and implement relevant strategies to support the delivery of Digital Services both within the council and the wider borough.
Skills/Experience

Strong technical work back ground with at least 5 years technical experience and possible certification covering: –
Web technologies and tools including programming languages, JavaScript, PHP coding, Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) experience
Content Management Systems,
SQL database and coding experience (MySQL or MSSQL)
SOA design patterns
Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010
MS BizTalk Server 2006 R2/2009/2010 etc.
