Conveyancing Assistant / Conveyancing Executive

Chepstow

Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm

Full Time, Permanent

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant capable of managing your own caseload. Within this role you will have the opportunity to progress as a Legal Professional, providing support to senior members of the team whilst entrusted with your own responsibilities.

The Role:

* Provide comprehensive legal assistance in respect to Conveyancing transactions

* Perform searches on behalf of the Fee Earners

* Draft contracts

* Manage a caseload with the support and guidance of senior members of the team

* Process Conveyancing transactions within a timely manner

* Liaise with clients to update them on the status of their Conveyancing transaction

* Undertake a variety of quality freehold and leasehold cases, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and new builds.

* Prepare documentation and keep data records up to date.

* Optimise the client experience through the use of conveyancing systems and technology.

* Establishing effective, professional and positive relationships with colleagues and clients.

* Provide general support and other tasks, as and when required for the effective running of the department.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant who has successfully managed your own caseload. You will be comfortable within a busy and challenging environment where the customer experience is at the heart of everything you do. You will be confident and articulate with an excellent telephone manner, able to listen, respond and act upon customer requirements. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, proficient in the use of IT, CRM and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
