Our Global Automotive Client, who are a specialist in advanced turbocharger technology and leading global supplier of innovative turbo charging and air management systems for passenger cars, light trucks and commercial vehicles, currently with an order book until 2030, they have an impressive global customer base including; Jaguar Land Rover, DAF, JCB, Ford and others. They are major innovator and remains at the forefront of new and emerging technology –to ensure that we meet the demands of the market.
As a result of this growing Technology they are looking for a Maintenance Controls Engineer to join their team.
As the Maintenance Control Engineer you will be responsible for all the activities of the maintenance department relating to the equipment breakdown which are controls related,provide corrective action including communication and training to those responsible for the usage.
For the Control Engineer role, you will have experience within a similar manufacturing or engineering environment.
· Have a HNC/Minimum qualification in related discipline.
· It would be advantageous if you had PLC programming knowledge S7.
· Previous experience of Root cause analysis tools and practical problem-solving techniques
· Familiar with Lean Manufacturing techniques (kaizen, process mapping, standardized work,5S, TPM, etc.)
· Knowledgeable of Microsoft Windows plus Microsoft packages (excel, word, SAP etc.)

Salary: £36,000 (DOE) INCLUDES 27% shift allowance
