Controls Engineer

Salary: £36,000 – £54,000 per year

The Controls/Automation Engineer will be involved in:

Development of new PLC and SCADA codes;
•Electrical, PLC and SCADA modifications on existing code;
• Drawing electric diagrams, using CAD
• Testing and commissioning of industrial installation;
• Finding electrical faults, diagnostics, collaborating with the Engineering team, and fix issues and/or modifications as required.
You will have:
• Experience in working with Siemens S7, STEP7, TIA Portal, WinCC. Codes: AWL, KOP, SCL;
• Proven experience working with electrical equipment for industrial process (including reading and modificatin of electric diagrams);
• Knowledge on settings/commissioning/fault finding of VFD drives, fieldbus communications and PLC I/O, instruments;
• Excellent working knowledge of control systems.

To be considered you will have NVQ or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, be apprentice trained or a time served electrical engineer/fitter. You will have experience within manufacturing and working on production machinery/equipment, including robotics, automated, drives and more.
