We have a rare opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our F&A team as part of the Integrated Financial Environment Delivery (2) to NHS England. If you have strong accountability skills in influencing, managing and driving strategy, this could be the role for you!

You will also have clear accountability for developing and implementing functional policies and procedures and be an advisor to senior managers in the business.
Here at NHS SBS, we work flexibly so whilst this role will include remote working, we champion and expect our teams to work in synergy with the main F&A office in Leeds and across the country. The expectation is to attend the Leeds office twice monthly.

What you will be doing:

  • To lead the development, ownership, and delivery of the strategy for designated client(s), gaining the necessary buy-in from the Sector and other internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure that other members of the client team are performing/delivering to required levels of the SLA and to manage/mentor where needed.
  • Identify new areas within NHS England as potential for generating business and growing the client.
  • Actively take part in appropriate internal and external forums, sharing information, and contributing to the design and development of strategy and new service solutions.
  • To initiate, develop and execute agreed and specific sales campaigns as part of the agreed sector/ client strategy.
  • To own and maintain the agreed contact matrix and calling plan for the designated client(s)
  • To provide client, market and competitor positioning information within designed client(s) in order to feed into future sales propositions and overall Sector strategy.

What you will bring::

  • Experience as a Senior Client Manager, demonstrating contractual commercial awareness.
  • Craft and execute services, solutions and propositions.
  • High-level technical knowledge and understanding of the BPS market and services.
  • The ability to develop propositions which will bring benefit to the customer and revenue growth for the organisation.
  • Dealing with blocking issues for client queries and make sure timely resolutions are made.
  • Set up and implementation of client plans, with regular reviews.

  • Previous knowledge of working with the NHS

Location: UK Wide – with travel at least twice a month to the Leeds office

Salary: Up to £84,840
