As a Contracts Executive this role is critical to the integrity of our contracting with our customers, ensuring that we are protected through having active contracts for each placement.

Job Purpose:
Each placement in our services require the support of an active contract. This protects the company, defines the expectation of the customer for that child and allows us to then invoice for the cost of the placement. Placement are usually either ‘drawn down’ from a framework (or similar procurement device) or are based on a spot contract basis.
Key responsibilities:
- To own the end to end process for Individual Placement Agreements such that each placement made is formally covered by a legal overarching contract, with the correct Terms and Conditions, at the correct fee.
- To raise and follow up contractual queries, both internally and with Local Authorities
- To review and analyse contractual documentation
- To effectively maintain an up to date database of all contracts
- Support with tendering activity.
- Maintain customer database information on external portals
- Update weekly vacancy information on local authority portals
Essential:
- Well organised
- IT literate to an advanced level
- Well motivated and able to work effectively alone
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence to deal with external professionals and staff at all levels
- Meticulous attention to detail
Desirable:
- Background in contracting and/or procurement
- Awareness of Local Authority structures and processes
