Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year
We have an urgent requirement for a Contaminated Land/Hydrogeology Consultant for a leading multidisciplinary consultancy in London. This post will offer an experienced contaminated land consultant the chance to work alongside the director on a range of innovative land quality and risk assessment projects.
It is anticipated that suitable applicants will have land and water contaminant risk assessment experience gained from working within a mainstream consultancy.
It is essential that candidates hold a first class academic background, preferably a degree qualification in BSc Geology or a related subject and ideally an MSc Hydrogeology, Contaminated Land or Engineering Geology.
Typically you will adopt a managerial role whilst supervising, organising and undertaking detailed site investigations. Other duties will include, scheduling samples, analysing results and interpretive report writing. Further to this, you will participate in mentoring junior staff whilst managing an expanding department.
An in depth knowledge of groundwater modelling software such as CLEA, P20 and ConSim will be an essential requirement for this role
