Are you an experienced field supervisor/construction manager, on brownfield sites, seeking your next permanent position?
This is an opportunity to join one of Europe’s largest fuel storage logistics businesses working on storage tank and pipeline construction projects.
Location: Immingham
Salary: £60,000 + annual bonus + 9% Pension
The Role
As a Construction Manager, you will support the Commercial Projects Portfolio Manager to ensure work site projects are managed in line with schedule. You will ensure that all work is within budget/estimates and in full compliance with company standards and UK legislation. Overseeing engineering activities conducted by contractors. To co-ordinate activities taking place at work sites with internal and external stakeholders. Report on work site safety, project progress, issues, and risks to internal stakeholders.
Required skills, experience and qualifications
You will be an incorporated engineer member of a professional engineering institution. Time served relevant discipline such as Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/C&I at following levels NVQ/SVQ/HNC/HND.
Ideally 10 years or more experience in a Lead Field supervisor role as well as experience in working in hazardous environments with knowledge of pipeline projects and COMAH regulations.
Understand management change procedures and CDM regulations.
Brownfield project experience on pump stations, compressor stations, tank farm construction, road loading infrastructure, pipework and pipeline upgrades.
As a self-motivated individual you will show good team working, excellent communication skills and the ability to make decisions. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate across a wide variety of internal and external customers is essential.
