Conference / Event Producer (Legal)

The Role

Our Romford based client, a market leader in producing law events and conferences are looking for an experienced Conference Producer to join their growing organisation.

Duties will include:

• Writing Conference proposals and creating the actual shape and content of the event itself
• Attracting relevant speakers and building relationships with industry people in order to be constantly aware of the burning topics and influences that could potentially translate into a compelling, rewarding and successful conference.
• Produce conference programmes on our existing events.
• Develop proposals and content for new events which are relevant to the target markets.
• To research and contact new and existing speakers.
• Constantly update and maintain the conference program.
• To assist in the program administration of the event
• Responsibility for all aspects of the conference program on site at the events including making sure the smooth running of the program, timing, collection of speeches etc.

You will be present at the events themself, ensuring that the Conference flows smoothly, that the speakers are looked after, and that the planning process is executed flawlessly in practice

Candidate requirements:

The successful candidate MUST have experience producing Legal conferences. You should also have/be

• Fluent written and spoken English
• A dynamic person who can develop quickly to develop their own program and ideas
• A person with initiative who can develop their own speaker leads and topics
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to accurately define the event’s target audience and create communications material that will appeal to them and instigate a desire to attend.
