Landmarc are currently looking to recruit a Compliance Manager to join our regional head office at Sennybridge Training Camp in Powys, Wales.

This is a new role to Landmarc and will drive compliance and consistency in standards and support the delivery of assurance and governance policies in relation to Hard FM disciplines. Oversee the integrity and delivery of regional outputs and our supply chain to ensure that the regional sites comply with all relevant regulations and specifications to support asset compliance. Support investigations to understand root cause of compliance problems and support audit programmes and processes to resolve or prevent compliance problems arising.

Main Responsibilities

Act as the focal point to the customer and provide data and reporting to support regional compliance at regional contract site meetings

Support the delivery of the Compliance Reporting within region, produce reports and information as required on data outputs including usage, trends, performance and KPI’s

Assist the Contract Support Office and support the annual audit and assurance programme. Conduct and support investigations to understand root cause of compliance problems and prevent reoccurrence. Manage and maintain regional audit updates on Entropy

Support and co-ordinate the contract management and assurance of regional asset compliance e.g. fire safety, DSEAR, fuel safety, gas safety, electrical safety, asbestos and legionella management

Undertake a review of completed works in month to provide assurance that works have been reported and managed to completion according to our processes, reports are accurate, complete, uploaded and that any actions or recommendations for works are being identified and recorded

Identify any missed or non-programmed maintenance tasks and or any follow up action. Report deficiencies or omissions and produce an action plan to address failings

Provide support in the management of contractual documentation such as management plans, inspection regimes, action plans, works raised and remedial works

Lead and manage regional improvement plans to ensure completion and compliance

Support the management including updating the regional asset register when required to ensure Landmarc maintains an accurate asset database

Support the regional delivery teams on technical matters to ensure any non-compliance is remediated in a timely and appropriate manner

Drive continuous improvement across the region; evaluate the efficiency of controls, effective influence, challenge and guidance to operational teams

The Ideal Candidate

  • Multi service facilities and services contracts
  • Previous working knowledge in an assurance role
  • Knowledge of the MoD Defence contract workings
  • Educated to or working towards an Mechanical & Electrical HNC/HND/Degree level or equivalent experience (desireable)
  • Experience or qualification at practitioner level for property management business & strategy, operate and maintain
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks
  • Ability to understand contract requirements
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders and interact at all levels
  • Be IT literate, with experience of Microsoft Office applications such a Word, Excel, Project
  • Good negotiating and customer care skills/collaborative worker
