Compliance Coordinator

Salary: £32,640 – £35,880 per year

Our client is renowned for importing, growing and packing fresh produce from global partners and their own production in the UK and Europe. They enjoy a great rapport with external growers and major retail customers. They are now seeking a Compliance Co-Ordinator to join their highly motivated team in Kent and to continue to deliver exceptional products to their customers.

You will assist the Group Technical Director, Group Head of Responsible Sourcing and Senior Compliance Manager in matters appertaining to product safety, quality and legality.

• In conjunction with Technical Managers, ensure that all supplier due diligence collated and filed.

• Complete the DD approval process for any new suppliers, packhouses or growers.

• Ensure your knowledge of customer requirements for responsible sourcing (food safety, auditing

ethical and environmental) is in line with company, and customer policies.

You will need to have an appreciation for food safety expected by the UK retailers. Ideally you should have 1-2 years post-graduate experience of working in a similar administration role, but if you are a recent food science, technology, agronomy, environmental, geography or human rights graduate we want to hear from you!
