Compliance/Audit Manager
An exciting opportunity has become available to join an industry leading, fast paced leasing company as the Compliance Manager.
As Compliance Manager for the group, you will have a responsibility for the smooth running of the small compliance team ensuring they stay up to date with all legislation, that internal/external audits are completed & that the business is working within the current FCA guidelines.
This is a varied role & will involve the following:
- Working alongside the Sales team to ensure processes are followed in line with FCA regulations
- Conducting internal audits & submitting recommendations to the Senior Management team in a timely & professional manner
- Resolving customer complaints
- Monitoring company advertising & social media posts to ensure these are marketed in a compliant manner
- Ensuring the FCA register is kept up to date whilst conducting staff training on the latest policies
The key skills & experience needed to be successful in this role are:
- A background working in an FCA regulated environment & complaint handling
- Audit & data analysis experience
- Supervisory experience & knowledge of SMCR conduct rules
- An awareness of Governance and Risk and a knowledge of how these can impact a business
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to maintain & prioritise a varied workload
- Strong IT skills & the ability to provide solutions
Personality-wise you will be down to earth yet professional, firm but fair, a good sense of humor and the ability to work at pace in an open plan office with a diverse range of characters. This a a small expanding company with a work hard play hard mentality.
The ideal Compliance Manager will enjoy keeping up to date with the latest legislation, producing work to a high standard & be able to work well under pressure.
