Job Description
Compliance Assurance Manager, London. Up to £80,000 plus bonus and benefits.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading insurance operation and play a pivotal role within their Compliance Team. Within this role you will be responsible for leading a team assisting with regular compliance reviews as well as supporting business divisions with recommendations, reviews and carrying out the appropriate action plans.
You’ll need to have sound judgement, excellent interpersonal skills and the scope to see the bigger picture; attention to detail and strong analytical skills are a top requirement.
The Role:
- You will lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the Group Monitoring Plan.
- Contribute to the development of regulatory procedures by recognising areas of weakness and working with Compliance and the business to put in place improvements.
- Managing and leading a small team of 3.
- Devise, conduct and document annual risk assessments of Financial Crime.
- Ensure effective completion of agreed actions from monitoring activities.
- Provide assurance of the effectiveness of Systems and Controls.
- Assess and contribute to the management of Compliance and Risk.
- Oversee 2nd line file review activities, ensuring risk-based focus and appropriate follow ups.
- Ensure appropriate MI is provided to the business.
- Provide Compliance input and support to Conduct Risk mitigation.
- Assist with regulatory change projects and activity.
