Compliance Assistant

Salary: £26,400 per year

Pyramid8 are working with their client in Leeds who are a leading Transport Company who have been established for over 100 years.

This is a new role to add to their growing compliance team. The role is the organisation of procedures to ensure drivers are compliant with law and regulations

47.5 hours including Saturday on a rota (1in 3)

Duties and responsibilities:

* Assisting of the compliance of Company fleet of vehicles, trailers, fuel, tachos

* Supporting on driver training and inductions

* Ensuring the company is complying with driver regulations

* Managing and improving compliance processes

* Ensuring equipment is complaint

* Administration

* Supporting the Compliance Manager

Required experience:

* Experience or knowledge the transport industry is essential

* Knowledge of fleet of vehicles, trailers, fuel, tachos

* Knowledge of driver hours

* Be able to work under own initiative but also to work as a team

* Be proactive
