Summary of role The Compliance and Data Administration Manager will be responsible for compliance of all ILR data, ensuring identification and correction of funding compliance data issues to maximise accurate funding claims along with contributing towards ensuring the Group error rate is maintained at less than 5%.

Brief summary of principle accountabilities

  • Will be responsible for compliance of all ILR data, ensuring identification and correction of funding compliance data issues to maximise accurate funding claims along with contributing towards ensuring the Group error rate is maintained at less than 5%.
  • Overall responsibility for the management of the Compliance and Data Administration team including completion of monthly 1:1s, monitoring performance and ongoing staff development.
  • Responsibility for accuracy of ILR data, ensuring both employer and ESFA funding drawdown is full and complete, liaising with internal staff, external bodies and employers for clarification/confirmation where required.
  • Management of timely, compliant processing of all learner starts and exits, liaising with operational teams regarding submissions / timelines.
  • Responsibility for compiling and interrogating monthly DSAT and ESFA funding monitoring reports ensuring corrective actions are carried out, liaising with Audit Manager to ensure data informs internal audit checks.
  • Assist Audit Manager with the interpretation of ESFA funding guidance and communication to the business including any required changes to paperwork and processes to relevant parties
  • Assist with providing internal training to the team on internal and external processes and paperwork via face to face or virtual training

Qualifications

  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent (E)
  • Level 3 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent (E)
  • Diploma in Risk Management, Internal Audit and Compliance (D)
  • Level 4 Regulatory Compliance certificate or equivalent (D)

Skills and experience

  • Experience of line managing a team of Compliance and Data Administrators (E)
  • Experience of working within a Funding Compliance role (E)
  • Experience of auditing further education related activity (E)
  • Experience of delivering high level of service and satisfaction (E)
  • Experience dealing with Data match reports (E)
  • Knowledge of ILR requirements (E)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team (E)
  • Ability to deliver to agreed targets (E)
  • IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office particularly the Word, Excel and Outlook (E)
